Detroit Pistons' explosive midseason surge, including a 12-game winning streak capped by road victories over Boston and Cleveland, has skyrocketed their implied probability to 78.8% for the Eastern Conference #1 seed, positioning them atop the standings with superior net rating and defensive efficiency. Boston Celtics hold second at 18.4% despite strong overall form, hampered by Jayson Tatum's recent ankle sprain and a tougher remaining schedule featuring back-to-backs. Cleveland Cavaliers (1.5%) and New York Knicks (1.2%) lag due to key injuries—Donovan Mitchell questionable and Julius Randle out long-term—eroding their head-to-head edges, as traders price in Detroit's rest advantages and rookie Tobias Harris' emergence amid the tight playoff race.
