While Jaafar Jackson's uncanny portrayal of his uncle—nailing the voice, dance moves, and charisma in sequences like "Beat It"—earns widespread praise, detractors slam the sanitized script for glossing over Jackson's controversies and delivering a hollow "greatest hits" narrative lacking deeper insight.
