Chan-Yeong Oh enters the ITF M15 Gimcheon match with stronger recent hard-court form, including straight-set qualification wins and a first-round victory over Geun Jun Kim. The 27-year-old South Korean holds a career-high singles ranking near 860 and defeated Jaesung Choe in their only prior meeting, a three-set qualifier in Changwon last June. Choe, ranked outside the top 1,200, has shown limited results on the ITF circuit this season. Both players share the same nationality and surface familiarity in a domestic event, but Oh’s superior ranking, match fitness, and head-to-head edge shape trader expectations for the round-of-32 encounter.
