Team Secret Whales has built a commanding position in the ongoing League of Legends EWC 2026 APAC Online Qualifier, a double-elimination bracket featuring all eight LCP squads that runs through May 20. The team secured straight upper-bracket wins over DetonatioN FocusMe and GAM Esports before edging Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS 2-1 in the upper final, positioning them one victory from the main-event slot in Riyadh. Lower-bracket contenders like GAM Esports and Deep Cross Gaming stay alive after recent sweeps, creating potential for a grand-final upset if the favorite stumbles in the best-of-five decider. Recent form, bracket survival, and the single-qualifier format continue to shape trader views on which roster advances.
