Trader consensus heavily favors Alexander Volkanovski (82.5%) as Movsar Evloev's next featherweight opponent following Evloev's submission win over Aljamain Sterling at UFC 310 on December 7, where the undefeated contender (18-0) publicly called out the former two-time champion. Volkanovski (26-4), rebounding from back-to-back losses to Ilia Topuria, responded positively in recent interviews, highlighting stylistic intrigue in a potential title eliminator amid the crowded top five. Diego Lopes (13%) gains traction from his explosive five-fight win streak and #3 ranking, while Jean Silva's (8.5%) knockout surge (12 straight wins, five UFC KOs) positions him as a dark horse, though no official matchmaking has been announced by UFC brass.
