Trader consensus prices "Yes" at 75.5% for over 400 US flight cancellations on April 5, driven by persistent severe weather forecasts overlapping peak spring break travel. FAA's April 3 air traffic report highlights low clouds impacting high-volume Northeast hubs like Boston Logan, New York (JFK, LGA, EWR), Philadelphia, and Washington-area airports, alongside thunderstorms at Orlando, Tampa, Indianapolis, and Memphis, snow in Salt Lake City, and high winds at Las Vegas—conditions mirroring recent days' disruptions with thousands canceled. Ongoing storm systems and crowded skies amplify risks, as airlines preemptively axe flights amid FAA ground stop precedents.
