Hannes Steinbach's dominant rebounding pace of 12.9 per game through 20 contests has Penn State firmly atop NCAA men's basketball statistical leaderboards, driving trader consensus to price him as a near-lock at 97.9% for the season rebounds per game crown. Recent outings, including 18 boards against Illinois and consistent double-doubles amid Big Ten play, have ballooned his lead to over 1.5 rebounds ahead of challengers like Rueben Chinyelu (11.3 RPG) and JT Toppin (11.0 RPG), with fewer games remaining for most contenders. Markets reflect his frontcourt minutes and efficiency against tough schedules. Potential shifts hinge on Steinbach injury concerns during conference tournaments or an extraordinary tear from underdogs qualifying for March Madness.
