Hannes Steinbach's commanding 98% implied probability as the NCAAM rebounds per game leader stems from his league-leading average of over 13 rebounds per contest through Penn State's early-season schedule, bolstered by double-doubles in six of ten games and a recent 18-rebound outing against a mid-major foe that extended his cushion. As a 7-foot freshman center, his size, positioning, and Penn State's up-tempo style afford high-volume opportunities, while competitors like Rueben Chinyelu and JT Toppin lag with fewer games played and lower efficiency against stronger defenses. Upsets could arise from Steinbach injury concerns, foul trouble in Big Ten play, or rivals feasting on cupcake schedules to close the gap before conference slates intensify.
