Trader consensus prices Duke freshman forward Cameron Boozer as the NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player favorite at 21.5% implied probability, driven by his 22-point, 13-rebound explosion in the first round versus Siena and 19 points in the Blue Devils' dominant 81-58 rout of TCU to reach the Elite Eight as the No. 1 overall seed. Illinois freshman guard Keaton Wagler sits second at 8.8% following poised tournament debuts and a clash with Houston's Kingston Flemings in Sweet 16, powering the Illini amid Big Ten strength with four Elite Eight entrants. Purdue's Braden Smith lags at 4% despite shattering NCAA all-time assists records in wins over Queens and Miami, underscoring key differentiators of individual tournament stat lines, team's championship trajectory through Elite Eight matchups like Illinois-Iowa and Arizona-Purdue on March 28, and historical MOP precedent favoring the champion's top performer.
