Chicago Cubs host the Philadelphia Phillies in the series finale at Wrigley Field, with the Cubs riding a seven-game win streak—including a 7-4 victory over Philadelphia on Tuesday—that has boosted their record to 14-9, while the Phillies languish at 8-15 amid a matching seven-game losing skid. Probable starters Cristopher Sánchez (2-1 for Phillies) and Edward Cabrera (Cubs RHP) set up a lefty-righty duel, with Sánchez showing early-season promise but facing a surging Cubs lineup featuring Ian Happ's six homers. Phillies bullpen depth is thinned by recent IL stints for Phil Maton (15-day) and Jonathan Bowlan (groin), potentially testing late-game resilience; Cubs home advantage and momentum shape trader consensus on a competitive NL matchup.
