Corbin Carroll holds a commanding lead in the 2026 MLB triples race with 16 through early September, eight more than any other player and on pace for another league-leading total after topping the NL in each of the prior three seasons. The Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder’s elite speed, aggressive baserunning, and consistent gap power in spacious parks have produced double-digit triples annually since his 2023 rookie campaign, including a franchise record he set in June. With roughly three weeks remaining, the eight-triple margin leaves little realistic opportunity for challengers such as Otto Lopez or Chandler Simpson to close the gap absent a prolonged Carroll absence. A late injury or significant rest could open a narrow window, but his established form and the compressed schedule make a reversal improbable.
