If the 2026 F1 Japanese Grand Prix is canceled or rescheduled to a date after Apr 5, 2026, this market will resolve to "Other." This market will resolve in favor of the driver who is officially credited with the fastest lap in the Final Classification published by the FIA following the conclusion of the race. The fastest lap must be set during the race itself; times from practice sessions, qualifying, or any other sessions are not considered. If no driver completes a lap during the race (e.g., due to a red flag ending the race prematurely), this market will resolve to "Other." The resolution source will be the official Formula 1 website and a consensus of credible sports news reporting.Mercedes teammates Andrea Kimi Antonelli and George Russell dominate trader consensus for Japanese Grand Prix fastest lap at Suzuka, with Antonelli's 32.5% and Russell's 27.5% implied probabilities reflecting their blistering single-lap pace across practice sessions—Russell topped FP1 by just 0.026s over Antonelli, who led FP3 by 0.254s before securing pole in qualifying with a 1:29.048. Oscar Piastri's FP2 benchmark keeps McLaren competitive at 8.9%, while Isack Hadjar's 12.4% stems from strong sector times hinting at late-race push potential. The bunched top outcomes underscore Mercedes' qualifying edge on Suzuka's high-speed layout, where clean air and tire management will decide the outright fastest lap amid Red Bull's qualifying struggles.
