Trader consensus heavily favors Mercedes at 71.5% implied probability for the Japanese Grand Prix constructor fastest lap, driven by their superior one-lap qualifying pace and straight-line speed suited to Suzuka's high-aero demands, including 130R and the Esses complex. Recent practice sessions and sim data highlight George Russell's strong sector times, bolstering expectations for a late-race push on fresh soft tires while finishing in the top 10 to claim the point. Rivals like Ferrari, McLaren, and Red Bull hover around 26%, reflecting tight competition in race pace and tire strategy, while newcomers Cadillac and Audi Revolut lag due to integration challenges ahead of new regs. No major injury or lineup changes reported this week.

If the 2026 F1 Japanese Grand Prix is canceled or rescheduled to a date after Apr 5, 2026, this market will resolve to "Other."
This market will resolve in favor of the constructor team whose driver is officially credited with the fastest lap in the Final Classification published by the FIA following the conclusion of the race. The fastest lap must be set during the race itself; times from practice sessions, qualifying, or any other sessions are not considered.
If no driver completes a lap during the race (e.g., due to a red flag ending the race prematurely), this market will resolve to "Other."
The resolution source will be the official Formula 1 website and a consensus of credible sports news reporting.
