Mercedes locked the front row with Kimi Antonelli on pole and George Russell second in qualifying, capping a dominant weekend of 1-2 finishes in FP1 and FP3 plus superior long-run pace in FP2, fueling trader consensus at 68% for their constructor fastest lap amid the Silver Arrows' unbeaten start to 2026. Aston Martin and Racing Bulls share 40.5% implied probabilities, reflecting bets on midfield tire strategy plays—late fresh softs for a chasing purple sector at Suzuka's high-speed layout—despite modest practice showings, while Cadillac's 39% nods to debutant upgrades and potential underdog surge. Red Bull lags at 26.5% after Verstappen's Q2 exit and subdued sessions.

If the 2026 F1 Japanese Grand Prix is canceled or rescheduled to a date after Apr 5, 2026, this market will resolve to "Other."
This market will resolve in favor of the constructor team whose driver is officially credited with the fastest lap in the Final Classification published by the FIA following the conclusion of the race. The fastest lap must be set during the race itself; times from practice sessions, qualifying, or any other sessions are not considered.
If no driver completes a lap during the race (e.g., due to a red flag ending the race prematurely), this market will resolve to "Other."
The resolution source will be the official Formula 1 website and a consensus of credible sports news reporting.
