This is a polymarket on the constructor team whose driver achieves the fastest lap at the 2026 F1 Japanese Grand Prix, scheduled for Mar 29, 2026. If the 2026 F1 Japanese Grand Prix is canceled or rescheduled to a date after Apr 5, 2026, this market will resolve to "Other." This market will resolve in favor of the constructor team whose driver is officially credited with the fastest lap in the Final Classification published by the FIA following the conclusion of the race. The fastest lap must be set during the race itself; times from practice sessions, qualifying, or any other sessions are not considered. If no driver completes a lap during the race (e.g., due to a red flag ending the race prematurely), this market will resolve to "Other." The resolution source will be the official Formula 1 website and a consensus of credible sports news reporting.Mercedes' commanding front-row lockout in qualifying at Suzuka, with Kimi Antonelli on pole ahead of George Russell, has solidified trader consensus at 70.5% implied probability for the constructor to claim fastest lap, bolstered by their superior long-run race pace across FP1, FP2, and FP3 sessions where they topped charts or stayed within tenths. McLaren's Oscar Piastri-led FP2 benchmark and Ferrari's competitive showings from Charles Leclerc keep them viable challengers at 10.0% and 12.0%, respectively, amid Red Bull's qualifying struggles dropping them to 6.0%. No major reliability issues or weather disruptions reported, positioning Mercedes' grid advantage and tire management as key for the extra point.
