Fourth-seeded Flavio Cobolli (world No. 16), riding strong clay-court form with a 95% service hold rate through two rounds at the BMW Open by Bitpanda, faces qualifier Vit Kopriva (No. 78) in the quarterfinals on Munich's clay. Cobolli advanced past Zizou Bergs 6-2, 6-3 after a solid second-round win, building momentum on German soil where he's 9-1 recently. Kopriva, a clay specialist, notched upsets over Jan-Lennard Struff in qualifiers and sixth seed Luciano Darderi 2-6, 6-4, 6-1, but carries fatigue from three-setters. Kopriva leads head-to-head 2-0 on clay from 2023 Challenger meetings, though Cobolli's higher ranking, power baseline game, and surface history tilt trader consensus toward the Italian despite the upset potential in this competitive ATP 250 matchup.
