Joe Pyfer's explosive second-round TKO finish of former champion Israel Adesanya in the UFC Seattle main event on March 28 propelled the power-punching middleweight from No. 14 in the rankings into serious title contention, drawing trader consensus toward top-10 grapplers as his next stylistic test. Anthony Hernandez at 49% and Caio Borralho at 48% lead narrowly due to their elite submission games—Hernandez's recent dominance and Borralho's decision win over Reinier de Ridder—positioning them as logical eliminators blending Pyfer's 90% finish rate against ground threats. Brendan Allen (No. 6), Nassourdine Imavov (No. 2), and champion Dricus Du Plessis follow amid a crowded division, keeping odds bunched absent official matchmaking.
