Trader consensus on the MLS 2026 Goalkeeper of the Year market reflects a wide-open race among a cluster of emerging talents who posted elite 2025 stats, including low goals against averages (GAA) under 1.00 and double-digit clean sheets for leaders like Yohei Takaoka (Vancouver Whitecaps, 12 shutouts aiding playoff push), Michael Collodi (San Jose Earthquakes, breakout save percentage above 78%), and Kristijan Kahlina (Charlotte FC, anchored top-5 defense). Luis Barraza, Joe Willis, and Jonathan Sirois also impressed with consistent performances amid competitive table battles, while factors like recent contract extensions, minimal offseason transfers, and team offseason reinforcements keep probabilities tightly bunched at 24-30%. No single goalkeeper dominated awards or separated from the pack last season, heightening upset potential heading into 2026 training camps.
