Trader consensus favors the New York Yankees at 33% implied probability to win the 2026 AL East, driven by their star-studded core including Aaron Judge and Gerrit Cole, plus deep farm system and aggressive payroll flexibility amid Aaron Judge's long-term commitment. Toronto Blue Jays sit at 25% on Vladimir Guerrero Jr.'s power resurgence and Bo Bichette's defensive upgrades, bolstered by recent international signings. Boston Red Sox's 23.5% reflects Garrett Crochet's rotation anchor and prospects like Roman Anthony nearing MLB readiness after their 2025 playoff push. Baltimore Orioles' 16% accounts for elite youth like Gunnar Henderson but recent trade speculation eroding depth; Tampa Bay Rays trail at 7% amid perpetual roster flux and rebuild signals. Recent offseason moves and injury recoveries shape these early projections, with upsets always possible in a parity-laden division.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the team whose listed nickname comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named the 2026 American League East division champion per the rules of the MLB (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”.
If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Baseball (https://www.mlb.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
