The Los Angeles Dodgers' 85.5% implied probability as 2026 NL West champions stems from their reigning World Series title, unmatched payroll flexibility exceeding $300 million, and a locked-in core featuring Shohei Ohtani's long-term megadeal through 2033, alongside Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, and bolstered rotation depth from Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Tyler Glasnow. Recent offseason moves, including pitching reinforcements, sustain their divisional dynasty after four titles in five years, reflecting trader consensus on superior talent pipeline and home-field advantages at Dodger Stadium. Challenges could arise from star injuries derailing their lineup health, or rivals like the Padres leveraging Xander Bogaerts and top prospects, San Francisco Giants' aggressive spending, or Arizona Diamondbacks' young core surging amid schedule quirks.

If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Baseball (https://www.mlb.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
