This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Most Valuable Player Award. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Shohei Ohtani commands the 2026 NL MVP conversation thanks to his unmatched two-way production for the Dodgers, where elite pitching has paired with consistent offensive impact early in the season. Traders have pushed his implied probability to 64.5 percent on the strength of a sub-1.00 ERA in limited starts, NL Pitcher of the Month honors, and a lineup presence that few hurlers can match, echoing his prior unanimous awards and building a clear frontrunner narrative. Behind him, Andy Pages and Elly De La Cruz sit at 4.5 percent and 3.7 percent respectively amid strong power-speed combinations, while Bryce Harper, Corbin Carroll, and Juan Soto hover near 3 percent on the back of solid but less dominant starts. Market sentiment reflects Ohtani’s historical edge in voter ballots, though any late-season injury or slump could reopen the race ahead of final tallying.
