Shohei Ohtani's 40.5% implied probability leads the 2026 NL MVP market, fueled by his historic 50-homer, 50-steal 2024 season and Dodgers superteam advantage, positioning him as the consensus unicorn talent despite Tommy John recovery. Juan Soto's 14% odds surged post-Mets signing, pairing star power with a contender core including Francisco Lindor (5.5%), while Mookie Betts (10.5%) and Ronald Acuña Jr. (10.5%) hold firm on proven track records amid Acuña's ACL rehab. Fernando Tatis Jr. (7.5%) and Elly De La Cruz (6.0%) excite with speed-power upside, but Bryce Harper's (5.9%) age tempers enthusiasm; Kyle Tucker's 2.7% nods trade speculation from AL Astros. Traders eye spring training health and early 2026 WAR metrics as key catalysts.
