Manchester United leads trader consensus for Premier League 3rd place at 61.4% implied probability, reflecting their current third position in the standings with 51 points from 31 matches and a +11 goal difference, three points clear of Aston Villa in fourth following a crucial 3-1 home win over Villa on March 15 where Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko scored late. United top the 2026 form table, bolstering their Champions League qualification push with favorable remaining fixtures. Liverpool sits fifth, two points further back after dropping points in a 1-1 draw at Tottenham and a 1-2 loss to Brighton on March 21, eroding their momentum. Villa's recent slip highlights United's edge in the tight top-four race, though Chelsea lurks with potential to climb on better results.
