Trader consensus at the Texas Children's Houston Open clusters tightly around 44-45% implied probabilities for William Mouw, John Parry, Matthieu Pavon, Luke Clanton, Brice Garnett, Lee Hodges, Takumi Kanaya, Emiliano Grillo, Jeffrey Kang, and Kevin Roy, reflecting a bunched leaderboard after Round 2 at Memorial Park Golf Course where these players share or trail the lead by no more than one stroke. Yesterday's second-round scoring surge—fueled by birdie runs on the firm, windy par-70 layout—propelled amateurs like Clanton and Mouw alongside Korn Ferry and PGA pros like Parry and Pavon, whose precise iron play and hot putters overcame early deficits. Established names like Tony Finau (1.8%) and Jason Day (7.4%) faltered with errant drives, widening the gap to mid-pack, while cut-line survivors face steep weekend climbs amid potential weather shifts and pressure-packed closing holes.
