Alexander Zverev holds the strongest position among remaining contenders for the 2026 French Open title after top seeds Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic exited early. The German has advanced steadily through the draw on clay, reaching the quarterfinals with confident performances and limited physical issues. Flavio Cobolli capitalized on recent momentum by defeating Felix Auger-Aliassime to reach the semifinals, while Jakub Mensik and Matteo Berrettini continue their runs but face tougher paths against established form. Trader consensus reflects Zverev’s experience in major semifinals and favorable bracket positioning at this stage of the clay-court major.
