This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 NBA Finals Most Valuable Player award for the 2026 NBA Playoffs. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by NBA rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 NBA Playoffs are cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NBA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus prices Shai Gilgeous-Alexander at 58% implied probability for NBA Finals MVP, fueled by the Thunder's commanding 2-0 series lead over the injury-depleted Lakers in Western Conference semifinals, including a 125-107 Game 2 rout on May 7 where SGA added 22 efficient points to his playoff average of 30.6 points across five games. Victor Wembanyama's 20% share reflects the Spurs tying their semifinal series 1-1 against the Timberwolves via a 133-95 Game 2 demolition, highlighted by his record 12 playoff blocks in Game 1 and historic triple-double with blocks. Jalen Brunson's 10.7% rides the Knicks' 2-0 edge over the 76ers—minus Joel Embiid—bolstered by his 27.4 points per game, while Detroit Pistons' 2-0 start over Cleveland elevates Jalen Duren (5.1%) and Cade Cunningham (3.1%) amid their top Eastern seed momentum.
