This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 NBA Finals Most Valuable Player award for the 2026 NBA Playoffs. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by NBA rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 NBA Playoffs are cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NBA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Jalen Brunson’s 100% market share reflects the Knicks’ 4-1 NBA Finals victory over the Spurs on June 13, capped by his record 45-point Game 5 closeout that included 15 fourth-quarter points and series averages of 32.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 4.6 assists. His consistent scoring, clutch play across the Eastern Conference run, and leadership in ending New York’s 53-year title drought solidified trader consensus around the Knicks guard as the clear Bill Russell Trophy recipient. The only realistic challenges to this outcome would involve an unprecedented post-series reversal in official voting or a rules dispute over eligibility, neither of which has precedent in recent NBA history.
