Lens holds a commanding 10-point lead over third-placed Marseille after 27 Ligue 1 matches, with 59 points and +30 goal difference fueling trader consensus at 71% for second-place finish amid PSG's slim one-point title edge from a game in hand. Recent 5-1 demolition of Angers on March 20 widened the gap to chasers, despite a prior 2-1 loss at Lorient, while the postponed April 11 clash against PSG—now rescheduled to May—preserves tension. PSG's 44.5% reflects vulnerability exposed in a 3-1 home defeat to Monaco on March 6. Lyon (41.5%) and Monaco (41%) gain traction from recent wins like Monaco's at Lyon on March 22 and superior run-ins, though 12 points adrift, outpacing Marseille's 29% amid inconsistent form. Mid-table sides like Le Havre and Angers trail far with under 33 points.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team officially recognized by Ligue 1 as finishing in second place. If multiple teams are officially awarded second place, the market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish 2nd in the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season (e.g. they are mathematically unable to achieve enough points), the market will resolve to "No".
If the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season is cancelled, postponed after May 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 2nd place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Ligue 1. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
