Mercedes' early-season dominance in the 2026 F1 season has propelled teammates George Russell and Kimi Antonelli to the top of the Drivers' Championship standings and trader consensus, with Russell at 44.5% implied probability and Antonelli at 31.4%. After three Grands Prix, Antonelli leads with 72 points from wins in China and Japan—his Suzuka victory last weekend closing the gap to nine points behind Russell's 63, earned via Australia race and sprint triumphs plus consistent podiums. Russell's edge reflects his experience and racecraft over the 19-year-old rookie's raw pace, while Ferrari's Charles Leclerc (5.5%, 49 points) trails amid Mercedes' superior pace under new regulations; Red Bull and McLaren struggles keep Verstappen and Norris below 3%. An April break precedes upcoming races where reliability and development will test the duo's lead.
