Zizou Bergs enters as trader consensus favorite against Adrian Mannarino in this Rolex Monte Carlo Masters Round of 64 clay-court clash, buoyed by his youth at 26 and sharper early-2026 hard-court results like upsetting Top-20 foes in United Cup play, despite a recent Miami R64 exit to Tomas Martin Etcheverry. Mannarino, 37 and holding a 1-0 head-to-head edge from their 2024 Paris indoors win, struggles on clay with zero 2026 victories there and a career 37% win rate on the surface. Both recovered from prior ailments—Bergs' January hip issue and Mannarino's fitness concerns—setting up a stylistic battle of Bergs' power against Mannarino's lefty slice, with mild sunny conditions unlikely to disrupt play.
