Mercedes' overwhelming early-season dominance in the 2026 F1 Drivers' Championship, powered by superior energy management and chassis pace, has positioned George Russell and teammate Kimi Antonelli as overwhelming trader favorites at 43.5% and 35.3% implied probabilities, respectively, reflecting a tight intra-team battle for the title. Antonelli's breakout performances—claiming pole, fastest lap, and victory at the Chinese Grand Prix before repeating with a commanding win at Suzuka last weekend to seize a nine-point lead (72-63)—have surged his odds, underscoring the 19-year-old rookie's rapid adaptation. Russell's consistent podiums, including Australia and China runner-up, maintain his edge via experience, while rivals like Leclerc (5.8%) lag amid Ferrari's struggles and Red Bull's uncompetitive package, leaving the outcome hinging on Mercedes' lockout potential across the 24-race calendar.
