BYU freshman AJ Dybantsa commands 99.6% trader consensus as NCAAM points per game leader after averaging 25.5 points across all 35 games this season, including efficient 51/34/77 shooting splits, 6.8 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per outing—well ahead of East Carolina's Jordan Riley at 23.6 PPG in 30 games and others like Arkansas' Darius Acuff Jr. further back. His dominance stems from consistent high-volume usage as the Cougars' primary scorer, highlighted by 35-point outbursts in NCAA Tournament losses to Texas and Houston, earning AP Big 12 Player and Freshman of the Year honors. With the regular season and March Madness complete, only an extraordinary scenario like retroactive game disqualifications or statistical adjustments could challenge his lock, though none appear imminent per official NCAA stats.

In the event of a tie for the highest points per game average, this market will resolve in favor of the player who appeared in the greater number of games. If the tied players also played the same number of games, the market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically.
Qualification for inclusion in official NCAA leaderboards (such as minimum games or statistical thresholds) will be determined according to NCAA rules and applied exactly as reflected in the official leaderboard.
If the 2026 Men’s NCAA Division 1 Basketball season is cancelled, postponed after April 20, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if an official leader has not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be the NCAA (ncaa.com/stats/basketball-men/d1).
