Manchester City's commanding position in the Premier League standings, trailing leader Liverpool by just a few points with a game in hand, drives their 84% implied probability for second place, bolstered by their superior goal difference and historical late-season surges under Pep Guardiola. Arsenal's recent stumble—a 1-1 draw against Southampton—has widened the gap to Liverpool, shifting trader consensus toward City securing runner-up spot ahead of Arsenal's 8.5% odds, despite the Gunners' solid defensive record. Manchester United's faint 4.3% chance stems from inconsistent form post-Fernandes injury recovery, while lower contenders like Aston Villa fade amid fixture congestion. Key upcoming clashes, including City's home tilt versus United, could solidify the hierarchy as the title race intensifies.
