Borussia Dortmund's dominant 87.5% implied probability for Bundesliga 2nd place stems from their commanding position atop the table after matchday 27, holding 61 points and an 8-point lead over VfB Stuttgart in 3rd (53 points), backed by a +30 goal difference and just two losses all season. Recent resilience shone through big wins like against Augsburg, maintaining the gap despite a narrow Der Klassiker defeat to leaders Bayern Munich (70 points), who widened their title edge to 9 points. Challengers like Stuttgart, Bayer Leverkusen (46 points, 6th), Hoffenheim (50 points, 5th), and RB Leipzig (50 points, 4th) trail significantly with 7 matches remaining; Dortmund could be overtaken only by a catastrophic collapse—multiple losses amid rivals' perfect 21-point hauls—or key injuries disrupting their momentum and Champions League qualification push.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team officially recognized by Bundesliga as finishing in second place. If multiple teams are officially awarded second place, the market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish 2nd in the 2025-2026 Bundesliga season (e.g. they are mathematically unable to achieve enough points), the market will resolve to "No".
If the 2025-2026 Bundesliga season is cancelled, postponed after May 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 2nd place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from the Bundesliga. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
