Spring break travel demand has solidified trader consensus around 2.4 million to 2.6 million TSA-screened passengers for March 21, reflecting recent daily throughput averaging 2.3 million to 2.5 million amid a 5% week-over-week uptick. Historical data for mid-March Thursdays shows similar mid-2.4 million volumes during peak vacation periods, with no reported disruptions from weather or airline issues boosting confidence in this range. Lower probabilities for sub-2.4 million stem from sustained post-winter recovery trends, while upside buckets like 2.6 million-plus remain slim absent weekend-like surges, as traders weigh steady economic indicators and capacity constraints at major hubs.
