After strong third-round performances at the Texas Children's Houston Open on Memorial Park's birdie-laden layout, William Mouw, John Parry, Brice Garnett, and Luke Clanton sit tightly bunched atop the leaderboard within one stroke entering Sunday's final round, driving trader consensus with implied probabilities hovering 39-42% across the top cluster. These challengers surged via superior strokes gained putting and approach play amid calm winds and receptive greens, vaulting past early pacesetters like Gary Woodland amid benign scoring conditions averaging 67. Hot streaks from amateurs like Clanton and Korn Ferry standouts such as Mouw and Garnett, combined with veterans like Parry's course familiarity, underscore the competitive volatility, where any putting duel or back-nine stumble could crown an unlikely champion in this wide-open field.
