The Paul Allen Estate's February 18 announcement of a formal sale process for the Super Bowl LX champion Seattle Seahawks—valued potentially at a record $8 billion—has fueled intense speculation among NFL ownership candidates, keeping trader consensus tightly bunched atop Polymarket. Jeff Bezos and Larry Ellison share 41% implied probabilities, reflecting their immense net worths exceeding $200 billion each, longstanding interest in sports franchises, and Pacific Northwest connections—Bezos via Amazon headquarters in Seattle and Ellison's growing sports portfolio including tennis events. Local Mariners owner John Stanton's 22.5% trails closely amid preferences for regional buyers, while figures like LeBron James and ex-Seahawk Marshawn Lynch draw support for star power and team history. With no public bids disclosed and NFL owner ratification required through the 2026 offseason, the race remains fluid and competitive.
