This market will resolve according to the team that wins the 2026 MLS Cup. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the 2026 MLS Cup per the rules of MLS (e.g. they are mathematically eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”. If the 2026 MLS season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026 ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Soccer; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Inter Miami CF holds a slim edge as defending MLS Cup champions, bolstered by offseason additions like Germán Berterame and Sergio Reguilón around Lionel Messi, but LAFC's flawless start—13 points from five matches with zero goals conceded, including a 3-0 season-opening rout of Miami—has traders viewing them as near-equals at close implied probabilities. San Diego FC's explosive attack (13 goals scored) and Vancouver Whitecaps' league-leading +12 goal difference further bunch the top, reflecting Western Conference depth after Matchweek 5, where multiple clubs pace over two points per game amid parity, balanced schedules, and no major injuries disrupting contenders like surging Nashville SC. Early form underscores MLS's unpredictable path to playoffs and title contention.
