Mohamed Salah's confirmed departure from Liverpool at the end of the 2025-26 season, following contract tensions and a two-year extension signed in 2025, has shifted focus to his next destination. Saudi Pro League clubs hold the strongest position due to confirmed funding availability and repeated pursuit of the Egyptian forward, including prior rejected bids from sides like Al-Ittihad. MLS emerges as a viable alternative amid commissioner outreach and lifestyle considerations, while Serie A interest, including Juventus links tied to his Roma history, reflects appeal for experienced players in Italy. Lower probabilities for other leagues stem from wage expectations and limited reported concrete offers, with European options outside major competitions facing competition from the financial pull of Saudi clubs. Trader consensus reflects these recent developments in transfer reporting.
