Trader consensus favors Benfica's Álvaro Fernández Carreras and Napoli's Kim Min-Jae as frontrunners for most red cards in the UEFA Champions League league phase, reflecting their physical defending styles—high tackle volumes and foul rates in recent matches—paired with heavy minutes amid congested schedules. The tight race persists with Mikel Merino, Konrad Laimer, and Martín Zubimendi close behind, as these combative midfielders share similar disciplinary profiles: accumulating yellows (2-3 each across competitions) that risk second-bookings in high-stakes clashes. No player exceeds one red yet, leaving ample fixtures for upsets, while Declan Rice and Lamine Yamal trail on cleaner records despite big-club exposure. Upcoming rivalries and referee tendencies amplify volatility in this evenly matched field.
