Recent TSA checkpoint data underscores trader consensus pricing <3.0 million passengers at 94% implied probability for April 3, driven by consistent sub-3M volumes in the past week—April 2 at 2.71M, April 1 at 2.36M, and March 31 at 2.15M—following a post-spring break lull from late March peaks near 2.76M. Year-over-year declines around 12%, coupled with ongoing staffing shortages causing record wait times and flight disruptions, have tempered demand despite Atlanta's monthly projection of 8.3M passengers. An upset into 3.0M-3.2M (47¢) would require an unforeseen Good Friday Easter surge, unlikely given subdued trajectories, with official resolution pending TSA's daily update.
