This market will resolve to the coach who wins the 2026 Naismith Coach of the Year award in Men’s Basketball. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by NCAA rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the coach whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 NCAA Men’s Basketball season is cancelled, postponed after April 30, 2026 ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NCAA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus on the Naismith Men's College Coach of the Year award reflects a fiercely competitive field, with Tom Izzo's Michigan State (27-8, Big Ten runner-up, Sweet 16 exit to UConn) edging Travis Steele's historic Miami (OH) campaign—MAC regular-season champs with an unbeaten streak snapped in the NCAA first round—and Tommy Lloyd's dominant Arizona (35-2). Bucky McMillan's first-year Texas A&M turnaround (21-10, 11-7 SEC, NCAA bid) and Mark Byington's Vanderbilt resurgence (22-6, fifth in SEC) keep the top cluster tight within seven points. Yesterday's finalists announcement spotlighted Lloyd, Fred Hoiberg (Nebraska), Dusty May (Michigan), and Jon Scheyer (Duke), but diverse narratives of overachievement amid no clear national champion sustain the balanced market sentiment.
