This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 American League Comeback Player of the Year award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus on the AL Comeback Player of the Year remains tightly contested early in the 2026 MLB season, with Jonathan India (35%), Kristian Campbell (34.5%), and Anthony Volpe (34.5%) clustered atop implied probabilities amid minuscule sample sizes after just a handful of games. India's slight edge stems from his offseason trade to the Royals and motivation to rebound from a dismal 2025 (.233 AVG, 9 HR), though his initial 0-for-7 start tempers enthusiasm. Campbell's prospect surge with the Red Sox, recently optioned but poised for recall, matches Volpe's Yankees shortstop defense and quality-of-contact gains despite a fresh 10-day IL stint for left shoulder recovery from prior labrum issues. Alvarez (31%) and Trout (25%) linger on health narratives post-limited 2025 action, while Cole (23.5%) eyes pitching dominance restoration, keeping the field volatile with rest advantages, early matchups, and roster health pivotal.
