Trader consensus positions Gunnar Henderson as the frontrunner at 35% implied probability for the 2026 AL Hank Aaron Award, driven by his explosive 2024 breakout—37 home runs, 105 RBIs, and AL MVP runner-up honors at age 23—highlighting his youth and sustained upside over aging stars. Aaron Judge follows at 26%, buoyed by his record-tying 58-homer season and recent Hank Aaron win, though concerns linger over his injury history and age 34 by 2026. Cal Raleigh's 21% reflects his catcher-power surge (34 HRs in 2024), while Bobby Witt Jr.'s 19% stems from his 32 HRs, .332 average, and speed-power combo at 24. Recent postseason play and draft hype for Nick Kurtz (10.5%, top college slugger) underscore shifting sentiment toward prime-age sluggers amid the Yankees' World Series run and offseason roster evaluations.
