Trader consensus positions George Russell as the clear 2025 F1 Drivers' Champion favorite at 55.5% implied probability, reflecting Mercedes' upward trajectory after podium finishes in late-2024 Grands Prix like Las Vegas and Abu Dhabi, bolstered by his long-term contract extension and proven race pace alongside engine reliability advantages. Kimi Antonelli's 16.6% follows his breakout FP1 sessions in Mexico and Abu Dhabi, plus strong private testing, marking him as a high-upside rookie threat in the Mercedes seat vacated by Lewis Hamilton's Ferrari move. Charles Leclerc (6.7%) and Hamilton (6.3%) trail amid Ferrari's inconsistent qualifying and tire degradation issues, while Max Verstappen's 4.5% odds dipped on Red Bull's constructor struggles and Perez replacement uncertainty with Liam Lawson, emphasizing Mercedes' skin-in-the-game edge in driver standings projections.
