Trader consensus crowns the Detroit Tigers as 47% favorites for the 2026 AL Central title, propelled by their stunning 2024 playoff surge, Cy Young ace Tarik Skubal's dominance, and a top-ranked farm system featuring Jackson Jobe and Kevin McGonigle ready to contribute. Kansas City Royals sit at 29% after locking up superstar Bobby Witt Jr. with an 11-year, $288.5 million extension, bolstering their 2024 Wild Card momentum and core with Cole Ragans. Cleveland Guardians (16%) lean on defending-champion pedigree and top draft pick Travis Bazzana, though conservative spending tempers expectations. Minnesota Twins (10%) face payroll squeezes and injury histories for Royce Lewis and Carlos Correa, while Chicago White Sox (6.8%) trudge through rebuild woes. Recent Tigers infield upgrades and Royals' pitching tweaks have widened the gap.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the team whose listed nickname comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named the 2026 American League Central division champion per the rules of the MLB (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”.
If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Baseball (https://www.mlb.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
