This market will resolve to the constructor team that collects the most points at the 2026 F1 Japanese Grand Prix, currently scheduled for Mar 29, 2026. In the case of a tie between two teams for most points, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. As soon as the results for this event are known, this market will resolve. If the 2026 F1 Japanese Grand Prix is canceled or rescheduled to a date after Apr 5, 2026, this market will resolve to “Other.” The resolution source for this market will be official information from Formula 1 (F1).Mercedes locked out the front row at Suzuka with Kimi Antonelli on pole (1:28.778) ahead of George Russell (+0.298), capping dominant practice sessions where they topped FP1, FP2 competitiveness, and FP3—reinforcing their constructors' lead at 98 points after strong early-season wins. This front-loaded grid positioning, combined with superior single-lap pace and chassis balance on the demanding Suzuka layout, drives trader consensus toward Mercedes claiming first points via the highest-finishing car. Ferrari and McLaren trail closely in qualifying (Leclerc and Piastri P3-P4), but realistic challengers include multi-car incidents, dual Mercedes DNFs from mechanical failures or crashes, suboptimal pit strategy, or unexpected tire degradation favoring rivals' race pace.
