Mercedes' commanding practice dominance at Suzuka, with Kimi Antonelli and George Russell securing a front-row lockout in qualifying after topping FP1 and FP3—plus strong FP2 showings—has driven trader consensus to imply 63% probability for the squad claiming the fastest lap point, reflecting superior single-lap pace and championship-leading form entering round three. Midfield constructors like Audi Revolut, TGR Haas, Racing Bulls, and Cadillac cluster around 45-50% implied odds amid tight FP2/FP3 long-run simulations and competitive qualifying midfield battles, while Red Bull's pace woes—Verstappen mired mid-pack—and Ferrari's third-row start temper their chances below 42%, underscoring Mercedes' edge on the high-speed, tire-demanding layout ahead of Sunday's race.

If the 2026 F1 Japanese Grand Prix is canceled or rescheduled to a date after Apr 5, 2026, this market will resolve to "Other."
This market will resolve in favor of the constructor team whose driver is officially credited with the fastest lap in the Final Classification published by the FIA following the conclusion of the race. The fastest lap must be set during the race itself; times from practice sessions, qualifying, or any other sessions are not considered.
If no driver completes a lap during the race (e.g., due to a red flag ending the race prematurely), this market will resolve to "Other."
The resolution source will be the official Formula 1 website and a consensus of credible sports news reporting.
