Carlos Alcaraz's commanding performance in the 2026 Australian Open men's singles final propelled trader consensus to 100% implied probability on his outright victory, as the world No. 1 overcame a first-set deficit to defeat 10-time champion Novak Djokovic 2-6, 6-2, 6-3, 7-5 on hard courts at Melbourne Park, completing his career Grand Slam at age 22—the youngest ever. As top seed with strong baseline play and improved serve efficiency, Alcaraz dominated semifinals and earlier rounds against quality draw opponents, showcasing peak form absent in prior quarterfinal exits. Official tournament confirmation resolves the market, leaving no realistic challenges like withdrawals or disputes, though Grigor Dimitrov's first-round loss to Tomas Machac underscores the field's depth.
