South Carolina's 4th Congressional District, with a Cook Partisan Voting Index of R+11 and consistent Republican margins exceeding 20 points in recent House races, anchors trader consensus at 88.5% for a Republican Party win on November 3. Incumbent Rep. William Timmons, who has signaled this as his final term, leads GOP primary fundraising with over $829,000 raised as of late March, outpacing challengers David Atchley and Robert Lee ahead of the June 9 primary. Democrat Courtney McClain's campaign holds minimal resources at $17,500 raised and negative cash on hand, facing steep structural barriers in this Upstate stronghold where Donald Trump carried 61% in 2024. No recent polls or developments indicate shifts, aligning odds with safe Republican ratings from Cook and Sabato.
