Trader consensus favors Petr Yan at 52.5% implied probability for Merab Dvalishvili's next UFC bantamweight bout, driven by their 1-1 series—Dvalishvili's 2023 decision win followed by Yan's dominant UFC 323 rematch victory in December 2025 that dethroned the former champion. Dvalishvili recently affirmed he's waiting specifically for the trilogy, calling it a logical next step amid ongoing negotiations for a summer 2026 date, potentially UFC 331. Rob Font (34.2%), Sean O'Malley (33.7%), and Umar Nurmagomedov (32.1%) trail closely as stylistic striker tests or prior title challengers, boosted by contenders' recent wins and Dvalishvili's three 2025 defenses showcasing his relentless grappling pressure against elite competition. Dvalishvili's upcoming RAF 8 grappling match versus Henry Cejudo on April 18 remains non-UFC activity.
