Mercedes' front-row lockout in today's Japanese Grand Prix qualifying at Suzuka Circuit has propelled Andrea Kimi Antonelli to the top of trader consensus at 59.5% implied probability for victory, following his stunning pole lap of 1:28.778—his second consecutive after China. Teammate George Russell sits second on the grid at 32.5%, bolstered by Mercedes' dominant weekend form across FP1, FP2, and FP3 where the duo topped sessions. Charles Leclerc (P3 or P4) trails at 4.1%, Oscar Piastri at 2.7%, amid Max Verstappen's shock Q2 exit that drops him to 0.4%. Suzuka's high-speed layout and limited overtaking opportunities amplify the pole-sitter's edge, shaping current market positioning ahead of Sunday's race.
