Mercedes teammates George Russell and Kimi Antonelli dominate trader consensus for the 2026 F1 Drivers' Championship, with Russell's 43.5% implied probability edging Antonelli's 35.4% amid their intense intra-team rivalry fueled by the squad's superior car pace. Antonelli surged to the championship lead with 72 points after back-to-back victories at the Chinese and Japanese Grands Prix—claiming pole, fastest lap, and the chequered flag at Suzuka—following Russell's Australian GP win for a Mercedes 1-2. Russell's experience and consistency keep him slightly ahead in markets despite trailing by nine points, while Charles Leclerc's third-place standing at 49 points yields just 5.8% as Ferrari lags in race pace. Lower probabilities for Max Verstappen and Lando Norris reflect early-season struggles for Red Bull and McLaren.
